plan review:
submital requirements and fees
- the review
of construction documents and submittal to AB as required by Article 9102,
TCS.
- a review
worksheet and compliance letter will be forwarded via fax and mail once the
plan review is complete.
Please submit the following:
- One set of construction
documents for each project (include specifications).
Mail plans to:

to: central texas accessibility. Review fee based upon project cost
(refer to fee schedule below)
- Make one check payable
to: TDLR ($100.00 TDLR filing fee)
- The original Project

- Per the Architectural Barriers
office interpretation of Article 9102, Texas Civil Statutes, all construction
documents submitted for TAS Review must be sent no later than the fifth business
day after the date the plans are issued for construction. According to the
Architectural Barriers, the effective date that the plans are sent will be:
US Mail - Postmark Date; UPS, FedEx, Etc. - Air Bill or Shipping Ticket Date.

forms will be reviewed to ensure compliance with Architectural Barriers submittal
deadlines and requirements
- project will be
registered with TDLR as soon as the completed Project Registration Form is
received.
- project will
not be filed with TDLR until the project submittal is complete [including
all required fees].
- the TDLR/EAB
Project Number will be faxed to the Contact/Firm who submitted the project
for review.
- the typical
turnaround time for a plan review is a week from the date the submittal is
received by our office.
- per Rule 68, Variance
requests must be filed with TDLR by the owner/architect.
